More About Aviator Athletics Partners with S2 PassCongratulations to Austin Kuhns, Brendan Swinderman, Alex Hale, Korey Snyder, Dayne Schlageter and Brodie Schlageter for qualifying for the State Championships. This past weekend the Boys placed 10th in the Southwest District leading the Dayton Area Schools. Austin Kuhns, Brendan Swinderman, Alex Hale and Korey Snyder qualified for the 200 Medley Relay with an 8th place finish at 1:38.14 Dayne Schlagetter, Brodie Schlagetter, Austin Kuhns and Korey Snyder qualified for the 200 Free Relay with a 5th place finish at 1:27.30Korey Snyder also qualified for the State Championships in the 50 Freestyle with a 12th place district finish at 21.60Brendan Swinderman also qualified for the State Championships in the 100 Breaststroke with a 13th place district finish at 59.80Congratulations Butler Swim - Good Luck at State!!!
More About Boys Swimming Qualifies for the State Championships!!The Lady Aviators Swim & Dive Team who completed in the Southwest Sectional Championship Meet this weekend. The Aviators advanced 5 swimmers and 1 diver on to the Southwest District Championships at Miami University. Lydia Knisley qualified for districts in all 4 of her events. She advances individually in the 50 Free and the 100 Free, as well as in the 200 Medley Relay and the 200 Free Relay. Gracelyn Austin who also qualified for districts in all 4 of her events. She advances individually in the 50 free and as a part of all 3 relay teams. Olivia Taylor who advances to districts in 3 events, the 200 Medley Relay, the 200 Free Relay and the 400 Free Relay. Emma Knisley who advances to districts in 3 events, the 200 Medley Relay, the 200 Free Relay, and the 400 Free Relay. Olivia Bonifas who advances to districts in the 400 Free Relay. Maya Kuhns who advances to districts in 1 meter diving. She is the first diver to advance since 2001.
More About Lady Aviators Swimming and Diving Advances 6 Athletes to Districts!!Congratulations Maya who broke a 24-year-old school record!!! Maya broke the record this past weekend at the Senior Dive Meet at West Clermont High School. She scored a total of 278.45 points. The record was previously held by Kristen Keish where she had a score of 278.00 points in 2001. Congrats Maya!!!
More About Girls Swimming New School Record 1-Meter DivingThe Lady Aviators Girls Swim Team took 2nd in the Miami Valley League Championships, just shy of 1st. The girls scored a total of 505 points.The Medley Relay of Gracelyn Austin, Olivia Taylor, Lydia Knisley, and Emma Knisley took first place overall. The Medley Relay of Maggie Allgood, Maya Kuhns, Keira Wagner, and Olivia Bonifas placed 4th.The 200 Free Relay of Emma Knisley, Olivia Taylor, Gracelyn Austin, and Lydia Knisley had an amazing swim with another first-place relay finish. The 200 Free Relay of Taylor McGowan, Lorelei Croskey, Maya Kuhns, and Rachel Lamb placed 5th overall.The 400 Free Relay of Rachel Lamb, Lorelei Croskey, Olivia Bonifas, and Maggie Allgood took 2nd while, the 400 Free Relay of Taylor McGowan, Evie Stump, Emma Filc, and Juliana Golde finished 5th.Issi Alexander placed 9th in the 100 fly and 6th in the 100 back.Maggie Allgood placed 7th in the 100 free and 5th in the 100 back.Gracelyn Austin placed 5th in the 100 fly and 2nd in the 100 back.
