Congratulation to Lucy Amlin and Tim Jacobs for being Butler High School's Athletes of the Week!! Lucy is new to playing golf this year but she has shown herself to be hardworking and willing to go above and beyond for the golf program. Lucy has been to every practice and every fundraiser. She is always finding a way to be a positive teammate and have a smile on her face. She never gives up on herself and is dedicated to improving her skills even beyond scheduled practices. We are excited to see how Lucy progresses over the next few years. Way to go Lucy, Keep working hard!! Tim is a three year varsity starter for the Aviators. He can go low any given day. One of the more powerful hitters of the golf ball. Tim is very competitive and has been a consistent leader for the Aviators Golf Program. Way to go Tim, Keep working hard!!

All our teams are in full competition mode this week. Cross Country joins the action on the road. Butler Football is home this week vs Stebbins. Friday night we recognize our youth football teams as well as Honor Blake LaForce with the Hope 41 game. Join us on the track after the game for One Lap For Hope. This lap is to honor all those fighting the good fight as well as remembering those who lost their battle.

Butler Girls Varsity Golf team battled the toughest course they have seen this season at the Oakwood Invitational hosted at Dayton Country Club. The Lady Aviators were able to walk away with a third-place team finish. Payton Griffith was able to take home a plaque placing third as an individual. The Aviators took home another victory tonight in MVL action with a win over Greenville 205-207. Way to go Aviators!!! Keep Working Hard!!

The Aviators have been hard at work this preseason. We are moving into full competition mode where boys and girls golf have been competing over the past couple weeks.
