The Butler varsity wrestling team finished second at the Sycamore Invitational with 164.5 points to first place Sycamore with 176. The Aviators had three wins in the championship round. Wrestling Alumni Support BHS

Butler Alumni wrestlers came out to support the team and were recognized Jan. 2. Former Butler state qualifier and current youth wrestling head coach Adam Maxwell was Butler’s Honorary Coach for the meet. Middle School Wrestlers Pick Up Two Wins

The middle school wrestlers took on Fairborn and Troy Jan. 6 and came out with two dual wins. The wrestlers beat Fairborn 76-12 and Troy 49-21. Wrestling will compete in the Fairfield Invitational this weekend. Saturday the team took on Lebanon and Glen Este at the SAC. in the 113 class, Josh Suddeth picked up two wins, beating Mikey Nemeth of Lebanon and Chase Henderson of Glen Este.
