The Butler girls’ swimming team placed first at the Trotwood sectional on Saturday, Feb. 11. Sophomore Abbey Burton placed first in the Girls 50 Freestyle, and senior Elaine Dean placed first in the 100 Freestyle. Placing first in the Girls 100 Breaststroke was junior Sydney Baker. Boys’ Swimming Wins Trotwood Sectionals

The Butler boys swimming team placed first at the Trotwood sectional on Friday, Feb. 10 with a score of 441 points. Several swimmers qualify to compete in the Southwest District meet. Southwest Ohio Classic Swim Meet

The Varsity Swim teams compete in Southwest Ohio Classic Meet; the largest high school swim meet in the Nation. The Butler Aviators competed in the prelims, January 14 -15, at Trotwood-Madison High School. The meet has a total of nine prelim locations. Boys’ and Girls’ Swimming Teams Finish Strong at Mason Invitational

The Butler boys’ and girls’ swim teams both competed exceptionally well at the Dec. 3 Mason Invitational meet, coming home with one championship and several high finishes. Junior Colin Wolfe dominated the boy’s 100 freestyle finals, with a time of 0:50.14.  This time was enough to give Wolfe the first place finish.   Wolfe also finished

Butler Claims GWOC North All Sport Trophy

For the 7th time in 15 years, Butler High School has claimed the GWOC North All Sport Trophy.   Schools earn points in the 22 GWOC sports in the three seasons. The GWOC was started in the 2001-2002 school year.   Butler’s previous wins came in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2010.
