Awards and solid finishes for the Butler Cross Country team Saturday, Oct. 15. The boys’ team placed in the GWOC American North Division Long Lin finished 5th overall, running 16:21. Middle School Runners Set PRs

Middle School cross country saw some of the best runs of the season Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Ed Leas Fall Classic at St. Clair Park in Eaton. With the great weather and the good course, the Aviators set many personal best times. Eighth grader Nathan Mercier medaled, placing 18th, running a PR of 12:09.

Boys Place 5th at Tipp 2 Mile

Three boys’ cross country runners placed in the top 15 at the Tipp City 2-Mile Invitational. As a team, the boys finished 5th out of 16. The top finishers for Butler were Long Lin who finished 2nd, Kyle Wertz 13th and Gabe Warren 15th. For the girls, Olivia Schoenherr was the top finisher, placing 19th.
