Congratulations to Gemma and Nate for being Morton Middle School's Athletes of the Week!!

Gemma is a seventh grader and has excelled for her first year on the team.  Gemma has either won or placed in the top 5 in almost every meet.  This includes two first place finishes in back-to-back races at Tecumseh and West Milton.  She has also qualified to run at the State Cross Country Invitational.  When Gemma isn't winning races you can see her encouraging her teammates.   Congratulations Gemma, Keep working hard!!

Nate has been working extremely hard and is a true leader on the team.  He is consistently one of our team's top runners due to his determination and work he is willing to put in during practice and outside of practice.  His work and determination also show in the classroom where he excels academically.  Congratulations Nate, Keep working hard!!
