Emma gives 100% effort every day in practice and in matches. She never gives up on herself, even in the toughest situations, and embraces the challenge of a third set if that’s what it takes to win. Her determination sets the tone for the whole team. Emma has naturally stepped into the role of team captain, leading warm-ups, keeping energy high with music, and even organizing a “snack buddy” system for away matches. She consistently cheers on her teammates the moment she steps off the court, making sure everyone feels supported. Beyond matches, Emma has organized multiple team outings to build unity and strengthen bonds. She leads by example, always doing the right thing socially and creating an inclusive, positive environment for everyone. Alongside her athletic dedication, Emma also works hard in the classroom, balancing her responsibilities as a student-athlete with excellence.  Emma is not only a strong competitor, but also a great teammate, leader, and role model. Her hard work, leadership, and commitment to her team, school and community are the epitome of what Athlete of the Week stands for. Congratulations Emma, keep up the hard work!!

Luke has embraced leadership for the varsity boys golf teams. He does whatever is asked of him helping to grow Butler Golf. He has worked extremely hard to improve his game to be a dominant player in the MVL. Luke is currently 4th overall in the MVL with a scoring average of 38.06. Luke not only gets it done on the golf course but in the classroom as well. Congratulations Luke, keep working hard!!
