Aviators News · Updated Spectator Guidelines

In accordance with recommendations from state and county health departments, the Office of the Governor, and the Ohio High School Athletic Association the Superintendents of the Miami Valley League have altered spectator policies for the athletic events in the month of December.

Spectators will only be permitted entry if properly wearing a facial covering and the facial covering MUST be worn at all times throughout the event.

Below is information regarding spectator limits in each of our winter sports…

Basketball: Only legal guardians and their spouses will be permitted to attend home and away basketball games for 7th – 12th grade.

Wrestling: Wrestling (Middle School & High School) spectator attendance will vary based on the venue, but the maxium allowable spectators will be legal guardians and their spouses.  Specific information for each event will come from the coaching staff.

Bowling: Up to 2 legal guardains (or a spouse) per Varsity Bowler will be permitted at each home event.  Visiting spectators will not be permitted (home or away).

Swimming: Spectator attendance limits will vary based on the venue, but the maximum alloweable spectators will be legal guardians and their spouses.  Some events will not allow any spectators. Specific information for each event will come from the coaches.

These spectator limits are not the desire of anyone involved, but we will continue to press forward with our number one goal, which is to provide education athletics based participation opportunities for our student-atheltes.
