Student-Athletes & Families,
On Monday, April 20, 2020, Governor DeWine declared that schools would finish the year remotely rather than in person. As a result of this, the Ohio High School Athletic Association officially cancelled all Spring Sports. The fate of many year-end activities and events has now been determined. The District will be issuing refunds as appropriately for many of those year-end activities, such as; spring sports/activities pay-to-participate, trip deposits etc. Building and department personnel will be furnishing information to the Treasurer’s Office for processing. Refunds will be issued in the form of credit back to the students wallet in PowerSchool to be used for next year’s fees, pay-to-participate etc. However, if a student is not returning or a check is preferred, please contact the building or department secretary and request a refund check. Please be sure the proper name and address is on file. Please note-if there are any previous outstanding fees, the refund will first be applied to the outstanding fee(s) and if there is any remaining amount, a refund will be issued. As we are processing an unprecedented amount of refunds, and doing so primarily remotely for all involved, please allow adequate time for processing. Refunds are not able to be issued for fundraiser events and activities.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and making the very best of a less than preferred educational situation. We wish you and your family the very best of health!
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Athletic Office.
